PRIVATE LESSONS

River City Rock Camp has been shaping young musicians in Lawrence, KS, for 17 years, and for the past 7 years, we've operated as a nonprofit music education program. In addition to our immersive music camps, we also offer private lessons for Guitar and Bass Guitar for all students at any experience level. We have seen incredible growth when private lessons are combined with our immersive music camps.

Lessons are available through our program from River City Rock Camp founders, Adrian Rees and Braden Young. The cost is $30 for a 30 minute lesson or $60 for an hour lesson. The lessons take place at Richard's Music Co. (15 E 8th St. Lawrence Ks 66046) Many of our other coaches give lessons through their own private studios. If you would like to contact any of them about their lesson programs, please let us know. We would be happy to put you in contact with them.

We understand that private lessons might not be affordable for all families, and we are excited to be able to offer financial assistance for students 18 yrs old and under. Financial assistance aid is based on the availability of funds, number of requests, participation history, availability of teachers, and other factors determined by the program director. Financial assistance is available for lessons with River City Rock Camp founders, Adrian Rees and Braden Young.
