Starting in July and going through August, each band will meet once-a-week for in-person, outdoor, masked, and socially distanced rehearsals. We will end with a limited in-person and live-streamed rock concert presented on the Lawrence Arts Center’s Main Stage.

Each band will have four or five 90 minute rehearsals with their coach from July 6 to August 20. Rehearsals will take place from either 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. to noon. 

The dress rehearsal and concert will both be held on August 21 at the Lawrence Arts Center.


 

Dress Rehearsal:  1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
 

Dinner Break         4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

In light of recent changes due to the delta variant we have re-evaluated our live performance requirements.  In order to provide the safest performance for everyone, particularly our youngest musicians, who cannot be vaccinated, the Lawrence Arts Center and River City Rock Camp have jointly decided to require the following for our upcoming concert:

 

1.  Each musician may invite 2 audience members to attend the live performance at the Arts Center.  

2.  Masks are required for all audience members and musicians.

The Arts Center has a new live streaming system, so we are excited to offer the show remotely to everyone who won't be in person.
